OPPO F31 Series Set to Arrive in India on 15 September — Price Leaks Surface

 On 15 September 2025, 12:00 PM IST, through Flipkart, Oppo will be releasing its much-awaited F31 series in India. It is expected to have the following line-up:

OPPO F31 5G

OPPO F31 Pro 5G

OPPO F31 Pro+ 5G 

The F31 phones are labeled as the Durable Champion series and it has the promise of being rugged and bearing large batteries, making them competitive in the mid range segment. 

What Spec-Leaks Tell Us

The following is a list of the most significant features that have been established or disclosed as of yet:

Durability / Protection IP66 + IP68 + IP69 dust and water resistant, and 360 armour body design. 

Battery a Charging Large 7,000 mAh battery, 80W SuperVOOC fast wired charging. Some variants are also anticipated to be reversed charged. 

Processor The Pro+ is expected to have Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. Other models can be MediaTek chip-carrying (Dimensity series) variants. 

Camera configuration Triple rear camera on all models, with a 50MP principle sensor. Selfie camera will also be in the 32MP category. 

Display & Extras Probably 120Hz refresh rate, AMOLED display. A cooling system (VC) is used in some models, also a vapour chamber cooling system (VC). Colours leaked. 

Pricing Leak: What the Rumours Say.

There have been a number of leaks that have given hints on the pricing of various F31 variants. The probable price ranges are provided below, depending on the existing information. These are not official and the real price of launch may vary in terms of exchange rate, taxation, offers etc.

Assuming that these leaks hold, the F31 series would cut or even tie down much of the competition in the “Durability + Battery” mid-range market — offering good value in services such as large battery, fast charging, and high ingress protection ratings.

Competitive Situation and What This Implicates Purchasers.

It is a successor to the OPPO F29 series, the base (8GB+128GB) model of which cost ₹23,999 at the time of release.  Consequently, the F31 base may be cheaper as the rumours suggest. 

The F31 Pro or Pro+ will probably be of particular interest to buyers seeking characteristics associated with ruggedness, i.e. water and dust resistance IP66/IP68/IP69, body durability, large battery.

Additional deals, bank invitations, Flipkart promotions on the introduction might reduce effective price even lower.

Things to Be Wary of on 15 September.

The last things that should be checked when OPPO announces the series are:

1. Official RAM / Storage variants — to verify whether all the leaks are right.

2. Specific processor in each version - particularly between value and performance trade-offs.

3. Charging and battery life performance in the real world - the 80W charging and 7,000 mAh are impressive, but real life performance is determined by how quickly it is charged.

4. Warranty and durability information- particularly in that IP rating as well as armour design.

5. Promotional deals / pricing guidelines- pre-order deals, Flipkart deals, perhaps even exchange deals.
