Accusing Israel of genocide, UN Inquiry Beefs up original charges against Israel following Gaza Ground Offensive.

Due to the incident on 13-14 June, 2021, the Gaza City area is presently involved in a significant disaster that has impacted the surrounding environment.<|human|>Gaza City / United Nations, 16 September 2025: Following the 13-14 June, 2021 incident, the Gaza City area is currently in a major disaster that has taken its toll on the surrounding environment.

A commission of enquiry set up by the United Nations has accused Israeli leaders such as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of fueling genocide in Gaza. The bombshell news arrives as the ground offensive of Israel Gaza attacks gain force, attracting bitter criticism and the world attention.

The language employed by Israeli officials was incitement to genocide as per the UN inquiry, which was directed at the Palestinian population in the Gaza City. The panel observed similarity of repeated statements and policies by the people that may promote mass violence.

Israel strongly protested the allegations. Netanyahu described the Israel genocide report by the UN as the distortion of the truth, emphasizing that the military activities in Gaza are the defensive acts against the Hamas militants.

The results can have an impact on the International Criminal Court (ICC), which is under pressure to inquire over reported Israel war crimes in Gaza.

Although the UN report was headlined, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) took a huge ground offensive into Gaza City, escalating airstrikes, drone attacks, and armored attacks. Israel claimed that the operation is meant to destroy Hamas tunnels and command centers but Palestinian health officials said that there are rising civilian deaths and worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

The witnesses reported that they were being shelled all the time in the north of Gaza causing thousands of families to move. According to aid groups, hospitals are making ends meet because of fuel shortages and shortage of medical supplies.

The US reiterated that Israel had a right to self-defense but it should exercise restraint.

The European Union took an alarm over humanitarian crisis in Gaza and demanded humanitarian corridors.

The Arab League condemned the attack as collective punishment and demanded accountability in the whole world.

As the Israel Gaza conflict rises to unprecedented levels and the UN accuses Israel of genocide, analysts fear a new era of Middle East diplomacy. When the ICC takes legal action it will tend to start a precedence that a sitting Israeli leader can be prosecuted.

In the meantime, the state of affairs in Gaza City is unsustainable as the ground offensive in the city does not portend any de-escalation.
