Next 12 Hours: This system will probably become even weaker, and turn into low-pressure zone.


Orange and Yellow Alerts: Orange warning on 16 districts and yellow warning on 7 districts.


Public Impact: The heavy rains are likely to lead to waterlogging and disruption of transport in certain locations.

This rainfall is as a result of a deep depression which has been formed over the Bay of Bengal and has settled over South Odisha, according to IMD reports.
