Bhubaneswar was severely rained leading to the build up of water in major regions. Nonstop rain led to problems faced by people.

The Bay of Bengal has a cyclonic system which causes the rain. It will last three days, and it will be concentrated primarily on coastal and northern districts.

This was a great hindrance to traffic and daily life in the city due to waterlogging.

There is also a yellow alert in all 24 districts till 10 th October. Unnecessary travels are discouraged and it is recommended that people should remain safe during heavy rain and thunderstorms.
