CHSE claims that the internal examinations will take place between 22 and 31 December 2025. Those who fail to show up will receive a second opportunity during January 10-15, 2026.

Practical exams will be tentatively held between January 2 and 15, 2026, and will cover all streams Arts, Science and Commerce so that all streams have their papers completed in front of the main written exams.

The ex-regular candidates started form fill-up process on October 13 and still on until November 22. In the case of regular students, the submission of forms starts October 20 and ends on November 22 as well.

This announcement aids students to plan their preparation in a system manner. Institutions and schools of coaching are now able to complete mock testing programs and revision programs in advance.

The move has been embraced by parents and students who desire to have transparency and digital facilities. The implementation of CCTV cameras in all the exam centres of the CHSE (1,349 centres, 89 of which have been upgraded) makes the exam process fair and secure.

The whole CCTV surveillance will be operational by November 29, 2025.

Students will be provided with digital provisional certificates, the first of its kind following publication of the results, which is a step towards Smart Odisha Education.
