OG Box Office Day 6: Pawan Kalyan’s Actioner Crosses ₹275 Cr Worldwide, Beats Empuraan & Sitaare Zameen Par

The recent big screen film of Pawan Kalyan OG is still on its high dominance in the global box office. The Sujeeth-directed action drama has in six days in theatres already crossed the ₹275 crore gross mark worldwide, hitting new records and surpassing the lifetime gross of certain recent blockbusters.

Good Run on Weekday Dip.

The movie had opened with an earth-shattering opening of ₹150 crores on its opening day (including previews). Though the collections of course leveled off after the record-busting opening, OG was able to maintain its steady course during the first weekend. The film has had an impressive retention even on Monday and Tuesday, grossing ₹10 crore globally on the sixth day.

India Gross: ₹183 crore

International: $10 million plus ( 83-85 crore approx.)

Worldwide Gross: ₹275 crore+

Such numbers put OG at the official top of the list of Mohanlal L2: Empuraan ( 267 crore ), and Aamir Khan Sitaare Zameen Par ( 268 crore ).

Eyeing Bigger Milestones

Now it is targeting the next milestones, having already become the highest-grossing Telugu film of 2025, having outgone Venkatesh with Sankranthiki Vasthunam. Its short term targets are:

Housefull 5 – ₹288 crore

Lokah Chapter 1- 290 crore (is still in operation)

With this momentum, OG will easily cross the 300 crore global mark before Friday, and with even more likelihood it may cross 350 crore+ before the end of theatrical run.

About the Film

Directed by Sujeeth, OG is a gangster film starring Pawan Kalyan in the role of Ojas Gambheera, who comes back to Mumbai as a former gang slayer to take on an enemy. Emraan Hashmi, who plays the role of the story's antagonist, Omi, is returning to the Telugu screen. Priyanka Mohan, Sriya Reddy, Arjun Das and Prakash Raj also play important roles in the film.

Having the big opening and stable trend, OG has become not only a movie but also a birthday of the fans of Pawan Kalyan in addition to a significant box office milestone of Telugu films in 2025.
